Yes, it is I, Newbie, posting high atop a mountain in Montana through blazing fast sattelite internet access so generously provided by my strangely wired host. I doubt I'll be able to post for the next 8 or so days, so let me unload my thoughts while I can.
I was left alone in a relatively good-sized town called Billings in Montana for 2 days. There are more wino's per block than any other town on the Earth and they all seemed drawn to me. It might be due to my prediliction toward handouts (I probably gave out about 10 dollars and word of mouth spreads like the plague about that sort of stuff, I assume) or it could be caused by me walking down the main drag with 2 six packs in tow...they filed in behind me and followed me all the way to the crummy motel I stayed in. I gave them NO alcohol.
I am bored, but in a good way; it's not nearly as painful as I thought, though I can't wait to get back to Albuquerque. People there rock so much harder. You know who you are, losers!
I don't know when Philly is in my future, hopefully soon though.
